Two Syrian reporters slain in Turkey
Two Syrian journalists have been killed in Turkey’s southeastern
province of Sanlıurfa.
Reports indicated the assailants slit the throats of both reporters, Ibraheem Abdul Kader and his friend Faris Hammadi, using a hunting knife.
Police have launched an investigation into the homicides while seven suspected Syrians were detained.
Syrian media activists blamed ISIS for the assassination, as the two journalists were covering the crimes committed by this terrorist organization in Syria, particularly in the city of al-Raqqa.
